HI SIL Glass Works has a wide range of glass products manufactured to the highest standards and meeting stringent quality parameters. We manufacture conical and spherical ground joints, stop-cocks, screw-cocks, threaded tapered joints and single and multi-neck flasks. We also manufacture components for distillation and reaction units, various types of condensers, separating and dropping funnels; extractors, reaction vessels and water distillers. We specialize in manufacturing filtration products like gooch crucibles, buchner funnels, pipeline filters, Micro filtration kits, lab jacks, clamps and boss heads.

Our product range consists of different items, wherein we provide comprehensive glassware and other products solutions to a wide range of requirements.

Custom made products

HI SIL Glass has earned an excellent reputation in the field of custom-made glassware for use in laboratory as well as industrial applications.

Technical Specifications of Glassware

Laboratory work requires apparatus made of the Burosilicate glass - chich can readily be moulded into any desired shape of form, which offers maximum inertness when in contact with the widest range of chemical substances which can withstand thermal shock without fracture and high temperature work without deforming, and which will be resilient enough to survive the everyday to knocks to which it will be subjected in normal laboratory handling, washing and sterilizing processes.

Chemical Composition

Glass should be of a law alkali borosilicate Composition, It typically chemical composition is given alongside. it should virtually be free foam magnesia-lime-Zinc group and should contain only traces of heavy metals thermal properties

Chemical Properties

Glassware should be highly resistance to Water, Neutral and acid solution, concentrated, Acids and their mixtures as well as to chlorine, Bromine, Iodine and organic matters. Even during extended period of reaction and at temperatures above 100OC its chemical resistance should exceeds that of most Metals and other materials. It should withstand repeated dry and wet sterlization without surface deterioration and subsequent contamination.
